Soldering the boards together is pretty straightforward - just make sure the electrolytic capacitors go in the right way.  The board has + marking indicating polarity.

The LDO Board

Introduction

The LDO board or "Low Drop Out" board is essentially a break out board for linear regulators. It supports both TO-92 and TO-220 packages, so for lower current draw applications, the MCP1702 linear regulator can be placed, but for heavier loads, something like the TC1262 can be used. There's also a standard barrel jack on the board for power entry. The board works nicely with the Platform Board

It is up to you to order the parts. The list can be downloaded **HERE**. This can be directly uploaded into Digikey if you'd like.

Assembly

Soldering the boards together is pretty straightforward - just make sure the electrolytic capacitors go in the right way. The board has + marking indicating polarity.
