This is a cool project you can build with the [[trigBoard]].  Basically just an IoT water level detector.  If there's a leak, flood, or even if it rains, get a push notification immediately!! Best part is that the trigBoard uses such little current, that the battery will last for a very long time.

Very useful if you want to wake the trigBoard up when a light switch is flipped in a room! Note that if you want to also check if the light is still on, check this out

Here's the diagram for hooking up the probe:

NOTE!  I noticed when hooking up the wire to ground as shown in the video that the range was severely reduced.  I tried connecting it like it is here in the diagram and get much better performance

Make sure to set the jumpers properly, so you wake the board up when water is detected:
